The AVON Creamy Body Wash Adventure!

So I decided to give these creamy body wash things a try. Never had I used a body wash, I was bar of soap Caress, the peach looking one, thank you! girl. But, I got a little adventurous. I sell Avon, I should try their stuff, right? I mean, I have make up and I’ll review those on here too at some point but let’s not get distracted. This is what I tried: Supreme Nourishment creamy body wash.

Soft scent, nice smooth skin, feels like a lotion and a soap got freaky and wham! After that, my skin was soft and hydrated! I’m in love!! Even my husband liked the way it left his skin. And since the scent doesn’t stay long after washing off, no one gave him a side eye. Not that he’d care, this the same man that rocks my little pony and would wear hot pink hair if they let him at work. Completely secure in his masculinity.

Soooo… I went to order but dang it if I got the name wrong… I got Radiant Moisture instead. Oh dear…

The scent was not right…and by the time this arrived, I had tossed the other one’s empty container. This one smells stronger…not a huge fan of it…but whatever. It still felt like a lotion but moreso than a soap. Unfortunately, despite the name, I didn’t feel moisturized. I felt dried out. Who knew there was such a difference! So next I tried a pink one, thinking that’s what my favourite was and it came with a bonus of the green one, which is original scent.

The pink one has a nicer scent than Radiant Moisture. Soft and Sensual is almost right but nothing like my favourite! The scent is more floral-ly and kind of soft but not really. Still, it’s not horrible. Not as moisturizing but not as drying as the one who’s supposed to be moisturizing! I was getting sad. Was I never going to find my favourite? Did they discontinue it?! Well… I still had the green one…so I tried it. Meh… I guess it’s fine if you want to smell like mosquito repellent. I can see why…it’s not a scent you want to be around if you’re a bug..it’s similar to citronella but with like pine scent added…it’s woodsy. Kind of smells like the lotion by the same name but stronger. It’s also more drying than Soft and Sensual but not as bad as Radiant Moisture. I still find that hilarious. I had two choices left. Shea Butter which I knew wasn’t right and … “drum roll!”

I still have to try the Shea Butter because why the heck not, I’ve already tried the others!! But…FINALLY…I found it!! It was kind of pink…but more peachy bottle. I’m sensing a theme… In any case, this here?! That’s my jam! That was the bottle I fell in love with…and heck yeah I wrote it down! LOL and now I’m a happy camper. Soft skin, not dry, and nice smell.

The only thing these things have in common is the feel, the lotion soap thing, and the scent only lasts while you shower. I see why people have to use the body bath oils after some of these. I get it now! But for now, I’m sticking to my Supreme Nourishment body wash. I only wish it came in a larger size. When I try the Shea Butter one I’ll write another review but for now, I hope you enjoyed this one.
